Answer:

Is this a question of a statement?

But yes during WWI the Russian army helped the allies (Serbia) and from a small little fight over land and leadership, each side called their allies and then those countries called others till it was a war that everyone but the US was involved in. The US said they were staying out but ended up selling supplies to everyone (mainly the allies) but the Germans got mad and they didn't want them helping the people they where fighting so they used a submarine and flipped over a supply boat. After that the US was determined to end the war and stop Austria/Hungary from doing anything else/ or any of the other aggressors (bad guys).

Do the dates on this map suggest an invasion of people or a migration of people? Explain your thinking.
zlopas [31]
Invasions of people--many of the groups came as military and fought the Romans as invading forces.

Counterclaim--they were migration patterns as they were attempting to gain access to an empire with advanced trade and education. Migrating to the Roman Empire gave a person or group with extra resources.

Which scenario best illustrates the principle of checks and balances?
Lelu [443]

The correct answer is D. Congress overrides a presidential veto of a law that establishes a new tax.

Explanation

The principle of checks and balances is a principle of government (constitutional) in which it is established that the branches of the public power (judicial, executive, and legislative) have the right and the duty to act to avoid actions of other branches to power is balanced between the three branches. According to the above, the correct answer is D. Congress overrides a presidential veto of a law that establishes a new tax because it illustrates a situation in which the branch of the legislature (Congress) avoids an action by the branch of the executive branch (president).
