Yes i do think that the US gov is working to ensure my personal freedoms. I do see myself included in the “we” of the “we the people” of the preamble of the constitution because our form of government in this country is a democracy. This means that the people are given the power over the government and we decide who gets elected to office. We the people play a big part in influencing government by voting to elect new presidents.
