The average cost of tuition and room and board at a small private liberal arts college is reported to be $8,500 per term, but a
Tom [10]

Answer:

H₀: µ ≤ $8,500; H₁: µ > $8,500

z= +1.645

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given problem  As average cost of tuition and room and board at a small private liberal is less than the financial administrator As hypothesis is true.

As standard deviation is $ 1,200

α = 0.05

H₀: µ ≤ $8,500

if the null hypothesis is true then value for critical z is +1.645.

WILL CHOOSE BRAINLIEST!!! The oxford square is approximately 300 feet on each side. What is the length of the diagonal square?
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

424 ft and 3 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the diagonal of a square, multiply the length of the side by the square root of 2 --> d = a√2

a² + a² = diagonal²

diagonal = √(a² + a²) = √(2 x a²) which simplifies to diagonal = a√2

If area is given --> d = √(2*area)

Knowing square perimeter --> d = (perimeter/4)*√2

Several years ago, 39% of parents who had children in grades K-12 were satisfied with the quality of education the students r
BaLLatris [955]
<h2>Answer with explanation:</h2>

Let p be the population proportion  of parents who had children in grades K-12 were satisfied with the quality of education the students receive.

Given : Several years ago, 39% of parents who had children in grades K-12 were satisfied with the quality of education the students receive.

Set hypothesis to test :

H_0: p=0.39\\\\H_a :p\neq0.39

Sample size : n= 1055

Sample proportion : \hat{p}=\dfrac{466}{1055}=0.441706161137\approx0.44

Critical value for 95% confidence : z_{\alpha/2}=1.96

Confidence interval : \hat{p}\pm z_{\alpha/2}\sqrt{\dfrac{p(1-p)}{n}}

0.44\pm (1.96)\sqrt{\dfrac{0.39(1-0.39)}{1055}}\\\\0.44\pm0.0299536805135\\\\0.44\pm0.03\\\\=(0.44-0.03, 0.44+0.03)\\\\=(0.41,\ 0.47)

Since , Confidence interval does not contain 0.39.

It means we reject the null hypothesis.

We conclude that 95% confidence interval represents evidence that parents' attitudes toward the quality of education have changed.

How do u regroup when u find the sum of 64+43
Anarel [89]
What we are going to do is use the DISTRIBUTIVE PROPERTY. This distributive the numbers, to make it easier to solve.

So we will break 64 up.

64 = 60 + 4

43 = 40 + 3

60 + 40 = 100

4 + 3 = 7

100 + 7 = 107

So, 64 + 43 = 107.

Hope I helped ya!!!!!!!
