One of the biggest ways the Renaissance influenced the Age of Exploration was the amount of new trade that was happening. The Renaissance opened new doors for trade, and trade started booming, this made people want to go out and explore and find new places to trade with. People wanted to make money off of trade, along with getting new goods from other regions of the world. Another reason the Renaissance influenced the Age of Exploration was the spread of Christianity. With the Renaissance, came with the spreading of Christianity, this caused people to want to explore and find different places to spread their religions to. The spread of Christianity boomed during this time, and that's one of the reasons why. The Renaissance also brought curiosity, along with people being interested in science. Scientists that were just starting out during this time, craved more and wanted to explore the world and figure out how it worked.
