If you are planning to apply for employment with a particular company it is indeed important to research the company's background. The reason why you should be aware of a company's background before you apply is because it's going to effect you and you're professional techniques as you might have the expertise the company would need. If you research the background of a company and it matches you're ability of skills you will be more likely to apply to that company as it will be more beneficial to you and what you have to offer. That is why it is important to be aware of what you are applying for and be further more prepared.
A supporting and an argumentative claim
In the passage from "A Doll's House", Nora is B) Glad that she finally has money to spend on gifts for the holidays.
After arriving, Nora is very eager to show her husband what she has bought for Christmas. Even though Helmer does not agree with such spending of money, she insists on him not to worry so much since he will earn a lot more money the next year. She excuses herself by explaining him that it is the first Christmas they did not need to economize. So, she is persuading him to relax about it.
