In my opinion, i think they should only to insure they get their books back. When someone gets a book from a library it’s more like renting out that book which is the libraries property.
So, I think so, especially if that said person knows the due date of when to return the book.

clear loud voice, make sure you are aware of the intent behind your voice - is it to persuade (loud projecting booming persuasive), create sympathy (quiet, urging) etc etc.
