When writing a review, reviewers should?
Verizon [17]

Answer:

Writers should briefly describe the product or service. Add other details later on, but first give your reader a sense of what they're getting into. First give an introduction about the product or service. Then, write a full paragraph about the aspects you're examining. Then, write a conclusion that briefly states the main idea.

You must answer this question. You received an email from your new friend, Leela who has just enrolled in your school.
devlian [24]

Hello Leela!

I hope you are doing fine. It's a great idea to go to the beach with our schoolmates during the weekend.

We should go to Santa Barbara Beach. It is near us, and it is a very cool place. If we are planning on spending our day there, we should bring food, what about some sandwiches?. Also, we have to ask our schoolmates to bring a volleyball ball and a frisbee to have some good fun!

Can wait for the weekend!

See you.

Susan.

When writing an email to a friend:

  1. Greet the person in an informal style. For example, hello, hi, or hello (friend's name). Exclamation marks are allowed and make the letter more friendly and casual.
  2. Ask the reader how they are and give a short answer to the email. In this case, the short answer is, "It's a great idea to go to the beach with our schoolmates during the weekend."
  3. Answer the email questions (which beach and what to bring)
  4. Write a closure sentence expressing how you feel.
  5. Sign the letter.

To sum up, when we write an email to a friend, we should use a friendly and informal style. As regards the organization, first greet the friend, then make a brief introduction, next proceed to answer the questions in the body of the letter, and lastly, sign the email.

Afterwards
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

In the poem "Afterwards," Hardy uses many euphemisms to refer to death. He never actually says the words die, dead, or death.

Instead, he says things like: "If I pass during..." Here, the term "pass" is replacing the word "die." He also uses the very wordy "When the Present has latched its postern behind my tremulous stay" (which basically means "When the present is behind me" or "When I am part of the past").

The effect of these euphemisms is to have a quiet, calming effect on the reader. If he constantly used the words "die" and "death" throughout the poem, the dreamlike quality of the poem would be altered.

Instead, using terms like "afterward" and all the other euphemisms allows Hardy to discuss death without actually discussing it. In this way, he wonders what the rest of the world will do "after."

Euphemism is defined as the use of an indirect word or expression as a substitute of the actual word or expression that is either too harsh or blunt when referring to something embarrassing or extremely unpleasant.  Afterwards is used as a euphemism for death.

Each stanza refers to the narrator dying in a certain season or time. 1st stanza deals with dying during the month of May and spring time. 2nd Stanza deals with dying on an autumn season. 3rd stanza deals with dying on a summer night. 4th stanza deals with dying on a winter night. 5th stanza deals with the funeral of the person.

Death is a very unpleasant topic to talk about and in the poem, it is being discussed in line with nature and its seasons. The poem uses metaphors and personification to make the subject more relatable to the readers and to enable the readers to appreciate the beauty of death without fearing it.
