Answer: inform listeners about planning for the future

Explanation:

The author’s purpose of this speech is to inform listeners about planning for the future.

The author wasn't telling the listeners how to apply for a new job or about seasonal changes. The author was informing them about the life after high school and what they need to do to plan for the future.

HELP ASAP 50 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Elena L [17]

Answer:

2. Extrovert

3. Avert

4. Traverse

Explanation:

All you have to do is take the prefixes, mix them with the roots, and search what the words mean. For example, I found the answer to number three because the prefix "a-" means away from (as the word box tells you) and then I put "a-" with both "vert" and "verse". I knew that "avert" was correct because avert means to turn away. But you could simply put "a-" with "vert" and "verse" and search what the words meant.

I hope my explanation wasn't too confusing :)
