Polynesian religion has changed dramatically with the arrival of European missionaries in the early nineteenth century. this is important because it shows how different religions can change with the span of new people. (before exposure in Europe), there were significant differences in ideas and religious practices throughout Polynesia. This fact is interesting because it shows that polynesia was in a divide and wasn’t unified in the are of religions and how so many people thought different things
