A security system is desired that can be used to detect whenever any one of two doors in a house and any one of two windows are

open. Derive a boolean expression from this description and draw the corresponding logic network that can be used to solve the problem.

Answer:

Z = A + B

Explanation:

The logic network can be seen attached below. This basically shows that if either of the two inputs are True then the output would apply. In this scenario, the output would be the alarm going off. Since either one of the windows being opened in this scenario would set off the alarm then the logic operator that needs to be used would be OR. In this scenario, the two windows are represented by the variables A and B while the output can be represented by the variable Z. Using these variables, we can apply the following boolean expression.

Z = A + B

Why is my computer fans making weird noises?
sattari [20]

Answer:

The biggest culprit for excess noise in computers Computer internal devices all generate "heat."  Most computers manufacturer add temperature controller fans on important internal devise or locations.  These will spin faster when "hot" temperatures are detected.  With the fans, there are usually "ventilation holes" needed to push this hot "air" out.  Unfortunately, these holes let in dust and "other debris' into the fans, thus making them "spin" harder and faster. This is normal. You might want to take your computer to your school's office and ask them about your. computer. I think I have a solution below but I am not sure it will work.

Check to make sure that your computer is set to use all of your speakers. Navigate to the Control Panel, and double-click Sounds And Audio Devices. If you change this setting, click Apply, OK, and then OK again to exit the Sounds And Audio Devices Properties dialog box.

Hope this answer helped you have a good day.  :)

C++
vichka [17]

Answer:

#include <iostream>

#include <map>

using namespace std;

int main()

{

   map<int, int> numbers;

   cout << "Enter numbers, 0 to finish" << endl;

   int number;

   while (true) {

       cin >> number;

       if (number == 0) break;

       numbers[number]++;

   }

   for (pair<int, int> element : numbers) {

       std::cout << element.first << ": occurs " << element.second << " times" << std::endl;

   }

}

Explanation:

One trick used here is not to keep track of the numbers themselves (since that is not a requirement), but start counting their occurrances right away. An STL map< > is a more suitable construct than a vector< >.

What are the values of the following expressions? In each line assume that,
MissTica

Answer:

double x = 2.5;

double y = -1.5;

int m = 18;

int n = 4;

string s = "Storm";

string t = "Watch";

The output of the expression "x + n*y - (x+n)*y" is "6.25".

and the output of expression "m/n + m%n" is "6".

Explanation:

for the first expression,

x + n*y - (x+n)*y ,put value of every variables in it.

=2.5+4*(-1.5)-(2.5+4)*(-1.5)

=2.5-6.0-(6.5*(-1.5)

=-3.5+9.75

=6.25

for the second expression,

m/n + m%n,  put value of every variables in it.

=18/4 +18%4

=4+2      ("/ will give quotient and % will give remainder")

=6
