- A simile uses "as" or "like" to link two things together, for example, "as strong as a boar", or, "sneaky like a snake"
- And a metaphor is very similar to a simile, except instead of linking and comparing with "as" or "like", the metaphor says that something is something else, for example, "she has button eyes" or "he was a demon on the race track"</span>
