What are two issues that made it difficult for explorers during the Columbus's
shepuryov [24]

Two of the issues that made it difficult for explorers during Columbus's time to explore unknown territory by sea were; inaccuracies of navigational tools made exploration by sea inconsistent and unpredictable and explorers had limited knowledge of the world’s geography.

Further Explanation:

During Columbus's time of exploring the sea was the best way to travel. The governments wanted to explore so they could use the sea for trade routes and commercial operations.

In addition to the answers above, other things that made exploration difficult during this time were;

 • early technology used was imprecise such as "dead reckoning"
 • the seas were challenging and inconsistent since they were uncharted
 • navigators could become lost
 • the financial risks were too high if the navigators and ships were lost

When Christopher Columbus did find America it was not intentional, he was actually going to Spain but he did not have the tool or the knowledge to get there and ended up going the wrong direction.

How did the Treaty of Versailles affect Germany? 20 points!!!!!
pishuonlain [190]
I found this information from a website, hope it helps! Germany was not allowed to have submarines or an air force. It could have an army of only 100,000 men and a navy of only 6 ships, and it was not allowed to place any troops in the Rhineland. Germany had to pay £6,600 million 'reparations' for damage done. Germany lost land.

1.What is Tao? How does it differ from a god?
k0ka [10]

1.Taoism is the absolute principle underlying the universe, combining within itself the principles of yin and yang and signifying the way, or code of behavior, that is in harmony with the natural order. The interpretation of Tao in the Tao-te-Ching developed into the philosophical religion of Taoism.

2.The Wu and Yu are non-being and being, or not-having and having. Wu also implies inexhaustibility or limitlessness

3.Ch'i (also spelled Chi or Qi) is a fundamental concept in Chinese philosophy and culture. Found in Chinese traditional religion but especially Taoism, Ch'i literally means "air" or "breath," but as a concept it refers to the energy flow or life force that is said to pervade all things.

4.Taoist ethics are concerned less with doing good acts than becoming a good person who lives in harmony with all things and people. Taoist ethics are inseparable from Taoist spirituality - both contain the same ideas.

5.Taoism (also known as Daoism) is a Chinese philosophy attributed to Lao Tzu (c. 500 BCE) which contributed to the folk religion of the people primarily in the rural areas of China and became the official religion of the country under the Tang Dynasty. Taoism is therefore both a philosophy and a religion. It emphasizes doing what is natural and "going with the flow" in accordance with the Tao (or Dao), a cosmic force which flows through all things and binds and releases them.

What does Gallipoli Campaign mean?
Andreas93 [3]

Answer:

The Gallipoli campaign or the Dardanelles campaign was a World War I campaign that took place on the Gallipoli (today's Turkey), which started with a naval attack by British and French forces.

Explanation:

During 1915, the Allied Powers attempted to occupy the Gallipoli Peninsula and the Dardanelles to access to Constantinople, expel the Ottoman Empire from the war and open a Black Sea route towards Russia.

The battle ended in 1916 with the complete withdrawal of the invading forces, after the heavy losses among old naval ships and military forces, because of inadequate equipment and lack of experience.
