<em> Prairies</em>
Prairies are ecosystems which are regarded as aspects of savannas, and shrub lands, biome, temperate grasslands by ecologists. This assumption are based on identical temperate climates, moderate rainfall, and a composition of grasses, herbs, and shrubs, instead of trees, as compared to the predominant vegetation.
Scientist have been able to use the aspects of weather conditions such as temperature, wind, clouds and precipitation to further understand how Prairies will be affected in coming decades.
It is projected that summers will become warmer and drier and that winters and springs will become warmer and wetter in prairies located in Canada.
There will be swift swings between wet and dry conditions and major weather events such as heat waves, droughts, floods will become more common.
