Answer: Character vs self.

Explanation: In the given excerpt from "Yearbook" we can see the description of a girl that thinks of herself as an individual and also is afraid to be open and share with other people, because her best friend moved to another city and left her, because of these reasons she spends her time alone. This is the description of a conflict of the character vs herself, because the issues she have are within her, not with the society or another character.

Part 1

Text structure is how you organize your information. For example, you may want to organize it in a cause/effect scenario, or using chronological order. For example, a text structure can take on the form of such:

First, Japan surprised attack Pearl Harbor even when they were trying to hold peace conferences with the USA as a promise that they would hold the US's neutrality. This leads to President Roosevelt's famous "Day of Infamy" speech, which led to the US declaring war on the Axis Powers, and the internment of Americans with Japanese Ancestry (Nisei and Issei). Finally, the Issei's had to endure harsh treatments in the camps, and were fin ally let out of the camps following the Japanese surrender.

While this does not give the complete picture, it gives a feeling of a chronological order (in which after the attack of Pearl Harbor, it led to the Infamy speech, which led to the internment of Japanese Americans). It also gives a cause and effect (because of the attack, there is consequence for the Japanese Americans). This is just one of the structures you can use, but of course there are many more examples you can give.

Part 2

In the passage no gumption it shows the presence of a descriptive structure and describes and idea and helps explain the characters by depicting them to the reader. To build a fire shows sequential structure by explaining he ideas in a time order. The story also shows that his actions led up to his hardships because of his decisions.  And do it yourself. ;)

Hope this helps!!!

Can someone write one body paragraph on why people want to become a nurse
Cloud [144]

You can become a nurse for any reason. You could be an assistant to a very famous doctor and get great tips. You could help people with the experience fro of your job. You could help your family without being in a hospital. You could be a great example for children, You could inspire them to be like you when you get older. You would get paid fairly. You could even get enough experience to become a doctor! Nurses are important parts of people's lives which is why you could become one. Without nurses who would hand the doctors the tools they need? correct them? tell them what's wrong with the patient? That is the reason you could want to be a nurse.

I think that in this passage the phrase "pack through" means carrying one's belongings on saddle packs on the horses and leaving the wagons (covered wagons?) behind to travel faster to get to the California gold fields sooner. Mr Johnson decided not to travel this way and instead harnessed his horse to the Frink's wagon and they continued as before. The following excerpt intimates what "pack through" means without actually saying it in those many words. "<span>Mr. Wand and his company have left their wagons here and made pack-saddles, intending to pack their clothing, blankets, provisions, and cooking utensils on their animals, in order to travel faster".</span>
