The population in Florida saw a very large increase from the 1950s and beyond. The space program in the 1950s provided thousands

of jobs. It also improved the economy. It was called the space race as the USA and Russia were trying to see who could put a man on the moon first. What was one of the disadvantages of this quick increase in population and jobs?

Answer: Urban Sprawl

Explanation:

Urban sprawl is a term used to describe the rapid increase of an urban area in an unplanned manner. This usually happens when an urban area is forced to accommodate a population that the city planners did not account for.

Urban Sprawl is disadvantageous because it can lead to a host of problems such as the loss of wildlife habitats, air and water pollution, loss of agricultural land and increased traffic.

Florida had to endure all these as a result of the rapid increase in population that it underwent.

fiasKO [112]

Answer:

The correct answer is:

A. remain in the classroom, facing the children, and speak quietly with Mr. Caulfield

Explanation:

In my opinion,  this is the most appropriate option since children should not be left alone in the classroom for their safety first. On the other hand, Students need to learn about respect for other people, in these cases it is important to previously advise that they should behave appropriately and remain silent as a sign of respect towards visitors in the classroom. In the answer option that proposes about going loudly to the teacher informing that she is interrupting the class, would be a way of underestimating the teacher's authority and would be a serious disrespect for her. And the last option would result in the same way that a group of students will be left unsupervised, so it is not an acceptable option either.
