Answer:

Ever since the ancient years, we have admired athletes and the hard work that they do to achieve their goal of winning. We idolize them and wish we were more like them. What happens though when the realization sinks in that they are human too and that some of them do get greedy and selfish? A lot of athletes are model citizens that you should really look up to, but there are also some bad apples in the bunch that ruins it for everyone. Athletes can inspire young people to work hard so that their efforts can pay off, but no one is pure and flawless. Greed does take a hold of some players, but they shouldn't be the ones we devote all of our attention to. We should look at the positive.Shaquille O'Neal bought over 1,000 turkeys and gave them to needy families all across the nation on Thanksgiving. I did not hear one mention of that in the news. They are making us believe that all athletes are bad people with their propaganda. Michael Jordan has started a foundation that donates money for research to help physically challenged children. Let a child believe in what they want to believe in. Sports athletes are good role models when they win and have confidence. It makes the child want that confidence and would push the child to achieve their goals to win just like that athlete. So athletes and celebrities aren´t all that bad to look up to.

O A. He was located far from his home.

O B. He was interested in helping others.

O C. He was trapped in an existence that was harmful.

D. He was ignored by people who failed to accept him.

Answer:

The correct answer is option O C. He was trapped in an existence that was harmful.

Explanation:

This question reffers to the poem "From Trauma to Transformation" by Luis J. Rodriguez.

n these two words that appear at the beginning of the poem, we can see how the author describes a life that was hurting him.

To understand it better, let's look at the following quote:

The calling came to me while I languished

in my room, while I whittled away my youth

in jail cells and damp neighborhood fields.

It brought me to life, out of captivity,

in a street-scarred and tattooed place

I called body.

Given this information, we can say that the correct answer is option C.
