List four conditions in Europe that occasioned the birth of sociology.
yuradex [85]

Answer:

The four conditions that brought about the birth of Sociology in Europe are: French Revolution, Industrial Revolution, Imperialism, and the success of the Natural sciences.

Explanation:

There was shift from agriculture to factory production during The Industrial Revolution which resulted in a lot of changes in the lives of the people such as bad working conditions, increase in Urbanization etc.

Their were also the introduction of more democratic forms of government during the French Revolutions, this introduced the inalienable rights of individuals.

August Comte is referred to as the Father of Sociology, He studied the society as a result of the changes that occurred in the French and Industrial Revolutions. These changes include; Aristocrats lost their status and money, the class system in France changed suddenly, people left agriculture and moved to the cities to find jobs and they were paid low wages under stressful working conditions. These changes made Comte to decide that a new science is needed which he called 'Sociology'.

snow_lady [41]

Answer:

C. Gloria

Explanation:

"Wrapping Up a Little Bit of Trouble" is a story written by W.M. Akers. The story focuses on two characters: Gloria (the narrator) and Davis (Gloria's brother). It happened on December 20th of the year, which was near Christmas Day. Gloria and Davis were busy wrapping the presents for the entire family.

You will know that Gloria is the narrator once you read the 7th paragraph. This is when Davis wandered into her bedroom and called her, "Hey, Gloria." After a while, they conversed on what presents they got their mom and dad. Gloria got her dad an old map while Davis got his dad a gigantic umbrella (as suggested by their mom). Davis wanted to have more fun in wrapping it and thought they could wrap an open umbrella to surprise their dad. It was really troublesome for them to wrap it.
