Answer: a.  dying.

Explanation:

In the first six lines of this poem by John Donne, the speaker is talking to his lover. He likens their separation to that of virtuous men dying and remarks on how they do not make a show of it but rather accept it.

He believes that they should behave in the same way as they part ways with each other with neither noise nor too much crying which he believes would desecrate the dignity of their love.

In "The Story of Baba Abdalla," one symbol we can identify is the character's physical blindness, which represents the blindness of his mind, or his greed.

<h3>A symbol in "The Story of Baba Abdalla"</h3>

First, we need to understand that a symbol is anything in a story that represents a bigger idea or message. A symbol is something that can be interpreted, understood or deciphered beyond its literal meaning.

That is why we can say that Baba Abdalla's physical blindness is a symbol. It is used to represent the blindness of his mind, which also means his greed. In other words, Baba Abdalla is so greedy that he cannot "see" anything else but the importance of gold and treasures. He does not understand that life is not about being wealthy.

He loses his eyesight because of his greed, so the two ideas are directly connected. His physical blindness is his punishment for his mind's blindness.

With the information above in mind, we can conclude that the answer provided above is correct.

On this day, pancakes were first made. Many would consider pancakes to be their favorite breakfast food. Would you? What is your
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

I wouldn't consider pancakes to be my favorite breakfast food. The reasoning for this is that to me they are very dry no matter how they are made. You have to cover then in lots of butter or peanut butter and syrup just to get them most and to a delicious flavor. You have to chug milk after every bite as well because of how dry they are. My favorite breakfast meal is eggs, bacon/sausage, and toast. It is a good variety and all three-four foods have a magnificent flavor. My favorite meal of the day would either be breakfast or supper. Eating good food in the morning provides me lots of energy to go throughout the day but a delicious supper makes me feel full and ready to get the rest of the day done so i can go to bed.
