Wow! You now know so much about Ecuador! Your friend David, however, knows nothing about it. In a few months, his family is goin

g on a tour of Spanish speaking-countries, including Spain and several Central and South American countries. He has asked you to help him learn more about those places before his trip. His first trip is to Ecuador. Write David a three-paragraph letter in English, and compare Ecuadorian culture and American culture, especially in terms of foods, sports, transportation, population, and demographics. How is your culture similar to Ecuadorian culture? How is it different? Use a lot of details to help David prepare for the trip, and have fun

Answer:

Hey David,

It's cool that you get to visit Ecuador. Here are some interesting things about Ecuador. Ecuador is slightly smaller than Italy or the U.S. state of Nevada. More than a million species of insects, 1,600 species of birds, and 4,500 species of butterflies live in Ecuador. Spanish is Ecuador's official language

Some things in Ecuador are very different from the United States. For example, Roughly 74 percent of Ecuadorians belong to the Catholic Church while most of the US is Christian. The climate varies by elevation more than it does by season, but the rainy season generally occurs during the first half of the year, while the dry season occurs during the last half. since the US is so large we have some states similar to this climate and other completely opposing it and having a mostly rainy year.

Some things in Ecuador are a lot like the United States. For example, Most young people in urban areas prefer U.S. styles and brands like our youth! like the US Ecuador also has frigid mountains!

Have a great trip! Bring me back a souvenir!

Comer langosta es ____. jovencísimo carísimo ocupadísimo los camareros son ____. larguísimos pequeñísimos trabajadorcísim
padilas [110]
1. Comer langosta es carisimo.
This sentence means - Eating lobsters is very expensive. Carisimo is the correct option here because jovenisimo means young, and ocupadisimo means busy, so obviously neither of those two other options fits this description given in the sentence.

2. Los camareros son trabajadorisimos.
This sentence means - The waiters are very hard-working. Trabajadorisimos is the correct option here because larguisimos means very large, and pequenisimos means very small, so obviously neither of those two options makes any sense here.

3. La chuleta de cerdo esta sabrosisima hoy.
This sentence means - The steak is very tasty today. Sabrosisima is the correct option here because felicisima means very happy, and enojadisima means very bored, so obviously those two options cannot fit the description in the sentence.

4. Las sillas del restaurante son comodisimas.
This sentence means - The chairs in the restaurant are very comfortable. Comodisimas is the correct answer here because nerviosisimas means very nervous, and riquisimas means very rich, so obviously they are wrong in this context.

5. Preparar una ensalada de frutas es facilisimo.
This sentence means - Preparing a fruit salad is very easy. Facilisimo is the correct answer because cortisimo means very short (used to describe people), and hermosisimo means very beautiful, so you can see those two don't sound correct.
