If humans run out of following resources, which resource would be most difficult to replace
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

Petroleum

Explanation:

Like all fossil fuels, petroleum is a nonrenewable energy resource. This means that it is a resource that cannot be replaced as quickly as humans use up existing supplies. Humans face a problem because once petroleum reserves begin to run out, there won't be enough fuel to power all the automobiles in the world.

oksano4ka [1.4K]
"The first and second hominids were able to mate and produce offspring, but the first and third hominids could not." Although that might be the case, it might also not. "More similar" needn't be 'similar enough' (disregarding the fact that all homonid specimens involved could happen to share the same sex).

"The first and second hominids shared the same geographic location, while the third was isolated."

That information would be revealed by the geographic location they came from.

"The first and second hominids most likely became extinct before the third hominid species."

Perhaps or perhaps not. As ancestral lineages can survive for longer than descendant lineages, it needn't apply. Still, I suppose the non-existent law of averages provides some sort of justification for the use of "Most likely".

"The first and second hominids have a more recent common ancestor than the first and third hominids."

Assuming these are all in the same neat lineage, then the most recent common ancestor of the first and second is also the most recent common ancestor of the first and the third.

Arrange the events in the order that they occur during DNA replication. Tiles. Helicase unzips DNA to separate strands. Polymera
Leya [2.2K]
DNA exists in a coiled form in order for it to take up a smaller volume in the cell so that is why the first thing is that it needs to be unwound by topoisomerase. Then each piece is made up of two strands that must be separated as they need to be copied separately, so next the helicase unzips the DNA. DNA polymerase needs to have something to build off so because DNA can be synthesized, the Primase needs to make an RNA "primer". DNA is then synthesized but because it cannot synthesize the whole chromosome in one piece, after DNA synthesis, the ligase must glue the shorter pieces together to make the entire chromosome. Correct Order 1. Topoisomerase unwinds the coiled DNA 2. Helicase unzips DNA to separate strands 3. Primase lays down short RNA strands 4. Polymerase synthesizes new DNA strands 5. The new strands are glued using ligase
