Write a method that returns a new array by eliminating the duplicate values in the array using the following method header: Publ
saw5 [17]

Answer:

Following are the program in java language

import java.util.*; // import package

class Main // main class

{

public static void main(String[] args) // main method

{

Scanner sc = new Scanner(System.in); // creating Scanner class object

int[] num= new int[10]; // declaring the array num

System.out.print("Enter 10 numbers:: ");

for (int i = 0; i < num.length; i++) // iterating over the loop

{

num[i] = sc.nextInt(); // taking 10 input integer.....

}

int[] newList1 = eliminateDuplicates(num);// calling the function eliminateDuplicates

System.out.println("The Distinct numbers are: ");

for (int i = 0; i< newList1.length; i++)

{

System.out.print(" " +newList1[i]); // display the new list

}

System.out.println();

}

public static int[] eliminateDuplicates(int[] list) // method definition as mention in question

{

int[] duplicate1 = new int[10]; // creating the array duplicate

int j = 0, I = 0; // variabe declaration

for (int i = 0; i < list.length; i++) // filling the duplicate with 0

{

duplicate1[i] = 0;

}

int count1 = 0; // variable declaration

for(int i = 0; i < list.length; i++)

{

boolean duplicate = false; // creating boolean variable

for(j = 0; j < count1; j++) // iterating over the loop

if(list[i] == duplicate1[j]) // checking the condition

{

duplicate = true; // assigning the duplicate variable to true

break;

}

if(!duplicate) //checking boolean variable duplicate

{

duplicate1[count1] = list[i];

count1++;

}

}

int [] newArray1 = new int[count1]; // creating a new array

for(int i = 0; i < count1; i++) // iterating over the loop

newArray1[i] = duplicate1[i]; // assign the element in the new array

return newArray1; // return array

}

}

Output:

Enter 10 numbers:::1

2

3

2

1

6

3

4

5

2

The Distinct numbers are:1 2 3 6 4 5

Explanation:

In this program we create a eliminateDuplicate method and passing array to them.In this function we create a duplicate array and assign 0 to them by iterating over  the loop then we check the required condition is duplicate or not by making comparison between the duplicate array and list array i.e if(list[i] == duplicate1[j]) . if matches found then it set duplicate = true; .Finally it created a new array and store the distinct element also return the new array element.  In the main method it printed the distinct elements .

Write a program that asks the user to enter five different, integer numbers. The program then reports the largest number and the
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

// here is code in C++.

#include <bits/stdc++.h>

using namespace std;

// main function

int main()

{

// variables

  int minn=INT_MAX;

   int maxx=INT_MIN;

   int n1,n2,n3,n4,n5;

   cout<<"enter five Numbers:";

   //read 5 Numbers

   cin>>n1>>n2>>n3>>n4>>n5;

   // find maximum

   if(n1>maxx)

    maxx=n1;

    if(n2>maxx)

    maxx=n2;

    if(n3>maxx)

    maxx=n3;

    if(n4>maxx)

    maxx=n4;

    if(n5>maxx)

    maxx=n5;

   // find minimum

   if(n1<minn)

    minn=n1;

    if(n2<minn)

    minn=n2;

    if(n3<minn)

    minn=n3;

    if(n4<minn)

    minn=n4;

    if(n5<minn)

    minn=n5;

   // print maximum and minimum

   cout<<"maximum of five numbers is: "<<maxx<<endl;

   cout<<"minimum of five numbers is: "<<minn<<endl;

return 0;

}

Explanation:

Declare two variables "minn" & "maxx" and initialize them with INT_MAX and INT_MIN respectively.Then read the five number from user and compare it with "minn" & "maxx" ,if input is greater than "maxx" then update "maxx" or if input is less than "minn" then update the "minn". After all the inputs, "minn" will have smallest and "maxx" will have largest value.

enter five Numbers:5 78 43 55 12

maximum of five numbers is: 78

minimum of five numbers is: 5

Write a program that asks for the number of calories and fat grams in a food. The program should display the percentage of calor
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

 The solution code is written in Python 3:

  1. calories = int(input("Enter number of calories: "))
  2. fats = int(input("Enter number of fat in grams: "))
  3. if(calories > 0 and fats > 0):
  4.    cf = fats * 9
  5.    if(cf < calories):
  6.        percent = cf / calories
  7.        if(percent < 0.3):
  8.            print("Food is low in fat")
  9.    else:
  10.        print("Error input. Calories from fat cannot more than total calories")
  11. else:
  12.    print("Error input. Calories and fats must be more than 0")

Explanation:

Firstly, use input function to ask user to enter total number of calories and fat in grams (Line 1-2)

Next we do the first input validation to check if the calories and fats are more than 0 (Line 4). If so apply formula to calculate calories from fats. If not, print error input message (Line 5, 13)

Then we proceed to next input validation to check if calories from fact more than total calories. If so, proceed to calculate percentage of calories from fats and if it is lower than 30%, display the appropriate message (Line 6 - 9). If fail the second input validation, the program will display another error input message again (Line 11)

What is the primary reason that routing on the internet is redundant
Elena-2011 [213]

Most of the time rerouting on the internet is redundant because a router already does it automatically. For example if one path has a lot of traffic it with put the user on another path with less traffic but same destination.
