Hey, I wrote this poem in five minutes, tryna work on my ability to create. Can someone read and share their thoughts please. po

em is below...
Laundry Basket

Our separation bothers me, but it allows me to grow
A terrible feeling, do I reap what I sow?
It doesn’t help with you acting immature
Especially since you know I’m on the floor
50 days have past
Since we talked last
Does it bother you I ask
Oh I miss you dear
I want to hold you near
Close so I can see
Your beauty in me
The beauty of your voice
The beauty of my choice
The beauty of my heart
Is you, my love
For if a century would pass and I would still love you
The situation is bad, but the valley is blue

Is Shakespeare's "For My Young Friends Who Are Afraid" poem an example of personification or a metaphor?
padilas [110]
Well, personification is adding human attributes to non-living things. EX: "The sun glared angrily at me." The sun isn't able to "glare angrily" so therefore that is personification. Hope this helps. :)
