How does Beowulf plan to fight Grendel?

English
1 answer:

Due to his arrogance/confidence, Beowulf wanted to kill Grendel without any armor(by convention even his clothes) or any weapon. He wanted to prove that he can kill Grendel on equal footing, that is to kill him only with his brute strength. The creature was known to rip men apart only with it's bare hands- and Beowulf wanted to show that he is stronger than Grendel even without armory

Svet_ta [14]
The central idea revolves around that question. Is 16 too young to drive a car? It presents evidence, facts, and arguments to make the point of either 16 isn't too young or 16 is too young.

Read this passage: sitting, surrounded by the smell of too old potato peels Lucille Clifton, "miss rosie" The passage is an exam
tino4ka555 [31]
This lines could be seen as examples of sensory imaginary. More precisely it is connected to smell because of the potato and sight because of how this person is found "sitting, surrounded.." it might be said that the combination of these two images could give the reader a vision of what the writer is trying to convey.

Read the following passage and answer the question that follows:
Sauron [17]

Answer: A. He sets the opening of the story on a rainy day.

Explanation:

The Metamorphosis is a 1915 book by Franz Kafka. It is about a man called Gregor who is, over the course of one night, transformed into a huge insect.

In this particular excerpt, it is the rainy weather that makes the situation sad. Gregor did have a bad dream, but we are not given any particular information about it. Gregor is certainly not feeling sad because of his room, nor does his profession affect his mood. However, in the last excerpt, we see that the weather is described as "dull", and the author points out that the rain makes Gregor "quite sad." The fact that the author sets the story on a rainy day makes it even more melancholic
