Answer:

Eli Whitney

Explanation:

The United States followed its own path to industrialization, spurred by innovations “borrowed” from Britain as well as by homegrown inventors like Eli Whitney. Whitney’s 1793 invention of the cotton gin revolutionized the nation’s cotton industry (and strengthened the hold of slavery over the cotton-producing South).

Answer:

1. Basically restricting and public Religious hearings, (going to the Mosc, Church etc. is fine)

2. There has been so much hate and problems going on because of religion. They think whatever religious stuff is going on should be in a place with people that actually believe in the religion, rather than brainwashing people with other religions.

3. They do not over present their religion and/or try and force it on people. Also, a lot of people mind their own business outside of the US, (I'm guessing that's where your answering this bc I am too) so they do not say anything.

Which statement best describes the significance of the Magna Carta? A.It limited the rights of individuals in order to stop abus
AysviL [449]

Answer:

B. It set limits on the power of the British monarchy.

Explanation:

The Magna Carta (1215) was a charter of rights written by a group of Barons of England that were tired of King John’s tyrannic rule. The charter established a more powerful parliament, granted some liberties of free men such as the right to a trial by jury before punishment and reduced the power of King John, whose rule was perceived as abusive especially toward people and in his imposition of high levies, even in the absence of war.

Its significance lies in the fact that it set limits on the power of the British monarchy by making the King subject to the law, meaning that from that point on, the British crown had to be accountable for their actions under the law, just like everyone else.

How did the military strategies of the north compare to those of the south during the capture of port royal
kirill [66]

During the American Civil War, the north and the southern armies had different goals, the Union at the beginning wanted to reunite the country, but later the goal changed to include the abolition of slavery. The Confederacy had a different goal, wanted to incorporate all slave states and secede from the Union.

To win the war the Union had to capture the Confederate territory and the Confederate just wanted to defend its territory.

After the capture of Port Royal, the Union noticed that it would be effective to make an economic pressure into the Confederates and establish a US military depot on the southeastern coast to carry out land and sea operations.

After the win of the Port Royal battle by the Union, the Confederates noticed that the coastline was too big to defend so the Confederates concentrated the defenses further inland, nearer the coastal railroads in the hope that reinforcements could be rushed to any danger point in time to prevent its capture.
