As the wind blew, I saw him standing in a pool of blue.

At this point, I already knew that this sight would be untrue.

He came out on bent knee, and spoke to me truthfully.

I could hear him speak with glee, when he told me he would marry me.

Soon enough I heard wedding bells, at which awoke me from my spell.

Only to wake to see him there, crossing his arms without a care.

My face had frowned and I looked down, only to see I were in my night gown.

He never knew I love him so, with his eyes that look at me with a glow..

I knew he would never love me.

Okay, so I don't know how good this was, but feel free to use it.

To explain the poem I wrote, it's about a girl that was dreaming about the man she loves marrying her and as soon as they were about to get married, hence the wedding bells, she awoke from her dream. The man was standing there like he didn't care for her at all, at this point she realized that he didn't love her like she loves him.

She loves him because of his eyes? I don't know.

Part C Think about what you’ve learned about Framton Nuttel and Vera. Recall what you know about round, flat, static, and dynami
atroni [7]

Answer:

Vera, Saki's mischievious protagonist, is indeed a dynamic, or round, character who exhibits several traits. For one thing, she is a perspicacious young lady who is able to identify people's vulnerabilities and seize upon details surrounding her in order to weave a convincing tale that will deceive her audience. She, also, can quickly adapt her fabrications to the next person or situation as her spontaneous response to Mrs. Stappleton's inquiry about Nuttel's bizarre reaction when she has announced the return of her family. Certainly, Vera enjoys exploiting the weaknesses in others with her subtle and clever practical jokes.

Framton Nuttel is the nervous, insecure type. He worries about Mrs. Sappleton's reception of him when he is introduced, and he is uncomfortable throughout the telling of Vera's tale.

Most people learn how to meet their basic survival needs during what
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

If you look at Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, you see that the most foundational level deals with basic survival needs. The things our bodies need to stay alive; or in other words, survival. If we can’t survive, nothing else really matters.

Yet in our modern society, we rarely think about these items, except from a convenience point of view. We don’t worry about having water to drink, we worry about what sorts of drinks we’ll have available to us. Most of us don’t worry about having enough food to eat, but whether it will be the food that we like. This is mostly because we have plenty of the basic things needed for survival. But we could lose all of that in a moment, without notice.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! CORRECT ANSWER ONLY PLEASE!!!
mixas84 [53]

D) A savage beguiler

In sheathings of silk

The lines chosen must show that the sea is cruel but it seems as though it's not. The word beguile means to enchant something in a deceptive way. By describing the sea as a savage beguiler, it gives the sea the image of something that is fierce, but not seen as fierce. It's seemingly calm beauty, like silk, tricks one into thinking that it is calm.

The other options do not work. Option A only creates a negative image. Option B also only creates a negative image of the sea as a predator. Option C personifies the sea as having fingers, but doesn't show it's cruel nature.
