Answer:

Public opinion, an aggregate of the individual views, attitudes, and beliefs about a particular topic, expressed by a significant proportion of a community. They say some scholars treat the aggregate as a synthesis of the views of all or a certain segment of society; others regard it as a collection of many differing or opposing views.

Explanation:

I believe a part of my explanation is the words make it almost self-explanatory. The word public is referring to the people in the community .The word opinion in this cas wasn't so self-explanatory. There are too many different reasons why people have opposing views on community.

andre [41]

Answer:

As late as 1800 most slaves in the U.S. had not been converted to Christianity. In the years that followed, however, widespread Protestant Evangelicalism, emphasizing individual freedom and direct communication with God, brought about the first large-scale conversion of enslaved men and women.

How was the effect of imperialism on Latin America similar to its effect on China?
Sloan [31]

Answer:

C.)Latin America was commercially dominated by the United States. Similarly, China’s economy was controlled by Japan and other countries.

Explanation:

Imperialism is the practice by which powerful nations seek to extend and maintain control or influence over poorer nations or nations. American imperialism under Latin America came from a commercial perspective, in which nations became dependent on the American market to export their products, giving the US a power of influence to decide even on domestic issues in those countries. The same was true of Japanese imperialism under China. In the first half of the twentieth century, China was essentially rural and Japan was an influential power that dominated China commercially, even invading Chinese territories.
