I think you have mistaken the formula.
I will do it this way.
Interest after 6 years: 1.038^6 × $5,000
Thus, amount after 6 years = $6,253.95
It has to have x decreasing and y decreasing, along with x getting bigger while y gets smaller, and it has to cross x at -5, 0, and 4 so this is your graph
Two equations with infinite solutions would look the exact same. Example:
y=mx+b
y=mx+b
Example 2
y=2x+5
y=2x+5
For an equation with no solution they would have the same slope but different y intercepts. An equation with same slope and same y intercepts would have infinite solutions.
