I would say yes, they are similar. Both work and school have a goal. Whether it be money or a good grade, one will still work to get that. They can both have their ups and downs, but in the end, both work and school ethics require perseverance.

No teenager just learning to drive can bank the turns with professional drivers at the Daytona 500.
quester [9]

Correct answer: In this sentence, the word bank means B. to drive on an inclined curve of a racetrack.

Explanation: This is the correct answer because this sentence talks about a car race as it talks about "turns" "professional drivers" and " Daytona 500", which is probably the name of the race. So, the other meanings are irrelevant in this context.

Everyone in the plane was eager to arrive at the base camp. Identify the type of verbal phrase that has been underlined and its
Advocard [28]
I assume that the verbal phrase underlined was "to arrive at the base camp"

It's an infinitive verbal phrase as it focuces on the indefinite form "to arrive"

It modified the word "eager", which is an adjective, and it gives more information about how eager, or what the reason for the eagerness was - this means it's an adverb phrase

So the answer is: infinitive; adverb
