What type of transport is the worst for air pollution
sdas [7]

Answer:

Car and bus commuters

What is air pollution?

The contamination of the atmosphere by noxious gases and particulates such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4).

A contemporary automobile with a three-way catalytic converter emits around 71% nitrogen, 14% carbon dioxide, and 13% water vapor, with some percent fluctuation depending on weather and location. Nitrogen and water vapor are completely safe. Not too much CO2. Other contaminants include carbon monoxide, unburned hydrocarbons, and different nitrogen oxides. The converter converts these three into the less damaging above-ground gases of CO2, water, and nitrogen, thus the term "three way." Older automobiles without catalytic converters would directly release these three, as well as tetraethyl lead from leaded gasoline used in the developed world until the 1980s. Meanwhile, diesel vehicles must contend with particulate matter and sulfur dioxide.

Cars and buses affect the environment by emitting considerable amounts of nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and other air pollutants. Buses and autos emit pollutants into the atmosphere.
