Children already have to attend school for seven long hours each day, only having a two day break and an occasional holiday in between. In addition to the long school days, most students take home overwhelming amounts of homework that can take up many hours in itself. Summer vacation is something children can look forward to as a great opportunity to relax and not worry about classwork or homework.
