Can't we live in harmony where no physical abuse can be present?
I, Mr. Baseball, am writing a petition AGAINST this HORRIBLE CRUEL society and will make a change for all baseballs here in the U.S.A.

We can eliminate commented and murmured because they imply the woman is somewhat timid about what she saying, and the previous word forcefully tells us this is not the case.
