Johnson did well in social and economic issues.  His Great Society legislation launched many reforms in civil rights, broadcasting, Medicare, Medicaid and education.  His War on Poverty help many Americans uplift their lives.  He also helped Blacks vote with his Voting Rights act and ended immigration proportions with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.
