Life does exist in the Mariana Trench, even at its deepest spots. The organisms living here are mostly a wide variety amphipods, sea cucumbers, sea anemones, etc. These organisms survive mostly by feeding off of the dead living beings on the upper layers of the Trench, which fall down to the depths as a result of gravity.
