Answer:

He could not join the Marine Corps because he did not yet have his Green Card.

Explanation:

Sergeant Rafael Peralta had a special love for the United States as seen from the copies of the Bill of Rights, the constitution, and his boot camp graduation certificate in his room in his family house in Mexico. After he graduated from  Morse High School, located in San Diego in 1997, he immediately wanted to enlist in the Marine Corps but he could not do that because he did not yet have his Green Card then.

When he finally obtained that in 2000, he immediately enlisted in the Marine Corps.

Help María describe her home and family. Choose the best Spanish equivalent to the phrase.
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

<u>A) The washer works better than the dryer.</u>

Explanation:

In Spanish, when the comparative "Better than" is used in a sentence, it means that something has more use than other one.

In this case, the operation of two elements of daily use for the cleaning of clothes is compared.

And since "Better than" is used, it compares that the washer is more useful for doing an action than the dryer. That is why in Spanish better than is translated as "<em>Mejor que</em>"
