The Jim Crow Row references the Jim Crow Laws, the laws kept African-Americans and Americans segregated, and since they were in a row alone separated from everyone else, he referenced being segregated from Americans, because of how he and his other classmates looked. There is your answer, I hope this helps! Have a good day!

Jim Crow refers to the Jim Crow laws. The Jim Crow laws made it so blacks could not eat at restaurants with whites, drink from the white water fountain or even use the segregated bathrooms. I would think that the row is the row of seats that the blacks had to sit in

*LOTS OF POINTS & BRAINLIEST*
kobusy [5.1K]

Basically the text is explaining that the way Americans level of skill made them unequaled to the rest of the world (mind, that is not a fact because there was a large share of well-working people in the world in this time) . Also it explains that American brain and ability to construct (why is this entire article just bragging about Americans being so much better when that's not 100% true?) was one of the most economic boosting things and they were very productive for that timeframe.

That's my best understanding of the article. (Scholastic really likes to brag about Americans, huh?)

What power does the governor of Georgia have to stop the state from spending too much money on unnecessary programs
larisa [96]
Once the appropriations bill is passed, it goes to the governor for approval. The governor can approve the entire bill or pick out separate expenditure items to veto. The governor is granted the line-item veto power to remove expenseswhich he deems wasteful without affecting the entire bill. Once the appropriations bill is signed by the governor, the budget becomes a law and must be complied with.
