It deppends on the type of warrior but I will try to explain using the Samurai. I think with them the value of the moral is of high importance and determined their lives:

The samurai considered death as something they had to be always prepared for and thus, whenever it was needed, they would sacrifice their life "for a greater good" they knew it was something it might happen anyway. The idea of trascendence is something we have to be also aware of; They thought that what you do in this life will affect how you start the next one (reincarnation).

Let's also talk about a "negative" way of sacrifice; The seppuku, where they took their own life by cutting their stomach with a sword when they considered they didn't follow properly one of the eight most important values as we can see in any of the samurai codes or books like Hagakure or the Bushido code. these eight codes are: Justice, courage, mercy, politeness, honesty, honor, loyalty and self-control.

Not only life they would sacrifice but also money, food, social life because these things might be a distraction or a cause of desire whic leads to suffering.

Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

The prompt is "major characters in novels or plays often encounter moral, physical or psychological dangers or choices. The ways in which the characters respond to these situations frequently reveal the authors' meaning. Analyze how the dangers or choices characters have to make are used by authors to develop their themes." I doubt that it can be applied to Animal Farm exactly. At least you will get the idea how the author chose the characters. As the back-up, you may turn for the help to the guys I personally know. Check PrimeWritings site for more details.

Explain the unique situation of the Greeks and Romans:
sergey [27]

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

The unique situation of the Greeks and Romans in this quote is that even though the Romans conquered the Greeks around 146 BC, they did not influence the Greek's way of living. Rather it was the Greeks that influenced the Romans in virtually all aspects of their lives.

This is evident as the Romans took some elements of the Greek culture including their religion, gods, lifestyle, and philosophy.

The Romans absorb the Greek culture, and it appeared like the Romans were the conquered and the Greeks the conqueror.

When the reality is that the Romans were the conqueror and the Greeks the conquered

Hence, “ the conquered (Greeks) becoming the conquerors and the conquerors (Romans) becoming the conquered”
