Answer:

Confucianism changed the Chinese government by introducing a new belief system. This system stated that everyone should follow the rules of society and know their place in relationships, for example, a ruler should treat his subjects with kindness and respect, and in return, the subjects should treat their ruler with respect. Another thing Confucianism changed was the quality of government agents. Exams were performed prior to anyone's hiring to test their knowledge of relevant subjects, this in turn provided encouragement for education. Confucianism also encouraged people to have a strong moral education, and be able to tell right from wrong. 

If I had lived in China during the rise of Confucianism, I would have noticed more people enjoying education, morality, and friendship. I would have been excited as the change would be for the better.
