Answer:

1. initial point is (2, 4)

reflected point is (-2, 4)

the coordinates are similar because they involve the same numbers, however, with the reflection across the Y axis, the X point became negative.

2. initial point is (2, 4)

reflected point is (2, -4)

again, same numbers but the X value becomes negative

Hope this helps!

Brian invests £4000 into his bank account.
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

10.24 years

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the time period is as follows:

As we know that

Amount = Principal × (1 + rate of interest)^time period

£8000 = £4000 × (1 + 0.07)^time period

£8,000 ÷ £4,000 = 1.07^time period

2 = 1.07^time period

Now apply the log to the both sides

log 2 ÷ log 1.07 = time period

= 10.24 years

Define an action adder :: io () that reads a given number of integers from the key board, one per line, and displays their sum.
aleksandrvk [35]

The program is an illustration of loops

<h3>What are loops?</h3>

Loops are program statements that are used to perform repetition

<h3>The main program</h3>

The program written in Python, where comments are used to explain each line is as follows:

#This initializes sum to 0

summ = 0

#This gets input for the first number

num = int(input())

#This is repeated while num is not -1

while num!= -1:

   #This calculates the sum

   summ+=num

   #This gets input for the num

   num = int(input())

#This prints the sum

print(summ)

Agata [3.3K]
So we are given that the line passes through (3,-1)
also been given the parallel line, we can tell that the slope is -4
to make a slope intercept form equation...
