An oxymoron is a phrase of opposites - there are no opposites in the lines. Flashback is an interruption in narration to tell something that had happened in the past. It's often used for clarification or character development. This is not a flashback. Personification is giving nonhuman things humanlike traits. The lines are actually talking about humans, not animals. This is why metaphor is correct. The priest doesn't actually have a flock of sheep. The flock that is mentioned are his parishioners (people who attend religious services). He says that they were either in bed or had died.

Truth be told, it could be two. A would make sense in that the way the sentence is worded, the turtle herself seems weak. while C is also true to the word dragging as that would make it's movements awkward and difficult. I'd say your best bet would be C as turtles heavy backs and it's slowly speed would make the term "Dragging" make more sense.

Also, the Reasons are important as they will provide support to the claims. The author will give one specific reason and then he will continue to provide reasons to support his/her conclusion. Counterclaim and Dissent are the elements in which you have to focus in order to make a counterargument, to state what is wrong and provide evidence or reasons to explain why you disagree or dissent with the argument.
