Fear is an emotion/reaction that we organisms of earth have used to our advantage in past circumstances. When our ancestors were confronted with a precarious situation, fear was a direct reaction to these possibly dangerous occurrences. This reaction could have been used to sense danger and alert others. Thus, making it important for people at the time. Nowadays, being cautious and aware of our surroundings is just as important if we want to remain out of possible harm and/or facing negative consequences of our actions. fear is a natural emotion that comes with this protection and awareness. Therefore, making it NOT foolish. BUT too much fear can have its own consequences, too. it just depends on how you look at it. :)

Proportionally means
Bess [88]

Answer:

2 fractions <em>are</em> equal

Step-by-step explanation:

We say that two quantities are <em>proportional</em> if one is always the same multiple of the other.

Say a recipe calls for 2 cups of flour to 3 eggs. That proportion, 2 cups flour : 3 eggs, will always stay the same, no matter how many serving we make. If we make 2 servings, we'd double to 4 cups and 6 eggs, but that wouldn't change the proportion. After all,

\frac{2}{3}=\frac{4}{6}

On a vacation in Puerto Rico rose jumped off a cliff into a river in El Yunque go forest reserve her height as a function of tim
gayaneshka [121]

Answer: t = 6 s

Step-by-step explanation:

When Rose hit the water, the height of the jump is 0, so: h(t) = 0.

Resolving it, we have:

-16t² + 16t + 480 = 0

To simplify the second degree equation, divided it by 16:

-t² + t + 30 = 0

Now, solve the equation using Bhaskara:

Δ = 1² - 4. (-1) . 30

Δ = 1 + 120

Δ = 121

t = \frac{-1+\sqrt{121} }{-2}

t₁ = \frac{-1 + 11}{-2} = - 5

t₂ = \frac{-11-11}{-2} = 6

Since time can be negative, it took t = 6s for Rose to hit the water.

X^4 + 2x^2 - 24
= (x^2 + 6)(x^2 - 4)
= (x^2 + 6)(x - 2)(x + 2)

x^4 - 9x^2 + 18
= (x^2 - 6)(x^2 - 3)
