One of the mistakes I made was not putting my academics first. It wasn't that I was lazy or dull, it just didn't manage my time well. At the end, I had to re-sit most of my examinations.
Of course I passed them excellently this time around, but I leant the lesson that there is time for everything.

Firstly, the contact between human beings and mosquitoes should be reduced. This can be through the use of antimalarial tablets, insecticides etc.
Secondly, people should be advised to use mosquito nets, repellants, malaria prevention tablets, and keeping the environment clean.
Thirdly, there should be an educative program for the people so that they will know how to prevent malaria.
In conclusion, a country can only develop when the population is healthy. With these steps taken, the spread of malaria will be controlled.
