0%Confidence Score 80%Confidence Score 68%Confidence Score From Keplers discovery, scientists were also able to infer that the closer a satellite is to an object, the stronger the force of attraction, hence it must travel faster in order to maintain orbit. Relying on this formula, we are able to see that the velocity required for orbit is equal to the square root of the distance from the object to the center of the Earth times the acceleration due to gravity at that distance. So if we wanted to put a satellite in a circular orbit at 500 km above the surface (what scientists would call a Low Earth Orbit LEO), it would need a speed of ((6.67 x 10-11 * 6.0 x 1024)/(6900000))1/2 or 7615.77 m/s. So really, a satellites ability to maintain its orbit comes down to a balance between two factors: its velocity (or the speed at which it would travel in a straight line), and the gravitational pull between the satellite and the planet it orbits. If youd like more info on satellites, check out these articles: Orbital Objects List of satellites in geostationary orbit Weve also recorded an episode of Astronomy Cast about the space shuttle.

Oxana [17]
I think the correct answer would be A. The infinitive is the most versatile verb form because it can be used as a verb, noun, adjective and even an adverb. An infinitive verb is classified as a non-finite verb wherein it could be used as the principal verb in a sentence. The infinitive verb form of a verb is commonly preceded by the word "to".  For instance: to run, to dance, to swim, to sleep etc. An example of an infinitive verb as a noun is: To swim a mile is her greatest dream. The infinitive form of the verb is "to swim"

Can you give me a short summary (a sentence or two) on Shakespeare’s Macbeth. And what it is.
tiny-mole [99]
From what I can tell, there was a battle in Scottland. Macbeth and his army had won the battle. On the way back from the battle, Macbeth had encountered some witches who then proceeded to tell him he will become King. After returning, King Duncan (considered very nice especially for being a king) promoted him to Thane. But overcome with greed Beth started thinking about what the witches said and started to fantasize about killing the king. The King hosted a party for Beth's promotion at Beth's house. Macbeth's wife then heard about the "prophecy" and tried to convince Macbeth to kill king who then proceeded to do as told.  At the end of the story Macbeth killed the current King out of greed.
