A watery light

English
2 answers:

Translation:

In the text, it says, “ A watery light touched bleak the granite bridge and white without the slightest tinge of gold.”
It's letting you know that there is a light muted colored light that's clear reflecting on the granite bridge. It seems like it should be yellow like the sun, but it's not muted and watery. That's what the phrase “ Without the slightest tinge of gold” means. “ The city shivered in the cold” This gives off a feeling as if the city is not suitable or it's a mysterious area because of all of these odd things this particular city consists of.

(Hopefully, this was helpful.)
