Read these lines from emily dickinson's poem "324" ("some keep the sabbath going to church"):some keep the sabbath in surplice â
adoni [48]
Let us only consider the endings of the verses; we see that the 1st and the 2nd dont match (surplice, wings). We notice though that the 2nd and 4th match (wings, sings). We can thus knock out options a and c. We also have that the 2nd and the 4th verse do not match. Finally, the 1st and 3rd dont rhyme (surplice, bell) and neither of them rhymes with any other verse, thus the correct option is b.

That is what you like to do during the holidays? Is it that you prefer to arrange everything in advance or is it that you prefer
Blababa [14]
I would want to rest and do things I want to do. If you take and arrange everything in advance then you will worry if you have everything or not. I would want to watch Tv and hang out with friends. There is a lot more to life than organizing stuff and waiting for that something to happen. Relax and enjoy yourself.

PLEASE, I NEED HELP!!!!!
MakcuM [25]

The answer is that the author used the word willow to portray two different meanings by using the techniques of metaphor and personification.

 1. ''An old willow with hollow branches slowly swayed his few high tendrils and sang(...) >> Here the author used the technique of personification in order to explain that the branches performed the human action of dancing.
 2. ''Love is a young green willow (...)'' >> Here the author used the technique of metaphor to compare love to a green willow (Willows are associated with spirituality and the ability to bend without snapping, a methaphor that is commonly used in Celtic culture to teach that we must adjust to the situation/feeling instead of fighting against it)

Hope this helps!
