Tell me the steps to turn the following sentence into using the double object pronouns.
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

Yo le doy la carta a mi papa

Explanation:

Double Objects Pronouns refers to when both an indirect object (IO) pronoun and direct object (DO) pronoun are used.

The Direct Object Pronouns are as follows:

 • me (yo)
 • te (tu)
 • lo/la (el/ella)
 • nos ( nosotros)
 • os ( vosotros)
 • los/las (ellos/ellas)

The Indirect Object Pronouns are as follows:

 • me (yo/I)
 • te (tu/you)
 • le (el/ella/him)
 • nos ( nosotros/we)
 • os ( vosotros/you)
 • les (ellos/ellas/they)

To turn the sentence "Yo doy la carta a mi papa" into using the double object pronoun we just need to add the Indirect Object Pronoun to the sentence, given that the Direct Object Pronoun is already there (La Carta).

So we have to add the Indirect Object Pronoun "Le" between the words "yo" and "doy". Given that "La Carta" (The letter) is given to his/her father (El) we use the Indirect Object Pronoun "Le".
