Little remains of British rule today across the globe, and it is mostly restricted to small island territories such as Bermuda and the Falkland Islands. However, a number of countries still have Queen Elizabeth as their head of state including New Zealand, Australia and Canada - a hangover of the Empire.

The Magna Carta was signed during the early thirteenth century. Which statement is also true?
Akimi4 [234]
A. The Magna Carta was signed during the early 1200's.

A way to consider it is that the first century goes from year 0 to year 99. There for the 2nd century would be in the 100s and so on. Therefore the thirteenth century would be the 1200s.

► According to this document, why were slaves not considered to be<br> people?
Step2247 [10]

I dont see a document but i think i can still answer your question. Slaves were not considered people because they were owned by people and considered property. Slaves did not have rights like others and were not accounted for until the 3/5 act. And even then only 3 out of 5 slaves were counted to up the population but still did not have rights.
