Answer:

The simplest form of the complex fraction \frac{\frac{8}{9}}{8} is  \frac{1}{9}

Step-by-step explanation:

In the complex fractions \frac{\frac{a}{b}}{c} = \frac{a}{b} ÷ c

To simplify it change ÷ to × and reciprocal c

  • \frac{\frac{a}{b}}{c} = \frac{a}{b} ÷ c = \frac{a}{b} × \frac{1}{c} = \frac{a}{bc}

In the complex fractions \frac{a}{\frac{b}{c}} = a ÷ \frac{b}{c}

To simplify it change ÷ to × and reciprocal \frac{b}{c}

  • \frac{a}{\frac{b}{c}} = a ÷ \frac{b}{c} = a × \frac{c}{b} = \frac{ac}{b}

Let us solve the question

∵ The complex fraction is \frac{\frac{8}{9}}{8}

∵  \frac{\frac{8}{9}}{8} = \frac{8}{9} ÷ 8

→ Change ÷ to × and reciprocal 8

∴  \frac{8}{9} ÷ 8 =  \frac{8}{9} × \frac{1}{8}

→ Cancel 8 up with 8 down

∴  \frac{8}{9} × \frac{1}{8} = \frac{1}{9}

∴ The simplest form of the complex fraction \frac{\frac{8}{9}}{8} is  \frac{1}{9}

S=5r^2t solve for T please
Vitek1552 [10]
Hello there!

S = 5r^2 * T
To solve for T, we need to isolate it - or get it on one side of the equation by itself.
To do this, we need to divide both sides by 5r^2.

S/5r^2 = T is now our equation and final solution.

I hope this helps!
