Example of an interrogative sentence is where are you going? The answer is C.

EXPLANATION:

An interrogative sentence is a sentence which is used to ask a question. Thus, the sign of an interrogative sentence is the question mark “?” at the end of the sentence. An interrogative sentence is also typically marked by transposition of the predicate and subject. The first verb in a verb phrase is before the subject.

Two kinds of interrogative sentence are negative polar interrogatives and reordering declarative sentences. Here are the examples:

• Reordering from declarative sentence

An interrogative sentence is normally formed by reordering the words from declarative form. For example:

Declarative: She went to school this morning

Interrogative: Did she go to school this morning?

• Negative polar interrogative

Negative polar interrogative is a negative yes-no question. This type of interrogative sentence is to confirm or check something that the speaker expects or believes. The examples are:

1. Don’t you want any coffee or tea?

2. Could you not hear me?

3. Wasn’t he here at the party?
