Answer:

x = 100

Step-by-step explanation:

3 log2(x) - 2 log2(5x) = 2

We know that a log(c) = log c^a

log2(x)^3 - log2(5x)^2 = 2

log2(x^3) - log2(25x^2) = 2

We know that log a - log b = log a/b

log2(x^3 /25x^2) = 2

Simplify

log2(x /25) = 2

Raise each side to base 2

2^log2(x /25) = 2^2

x/25 = 4

Multiply each side by 25

x = 4*25

x = 100

Solve x and give our answer as a improper fraction in its simplest form:
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Hello!

Explanation:

Distributive property: → a(b+c)=ab+ac

Expand.

6(x-9)=6x-54

6x-54=3x+2

First, add by 54 from both sides of an equation.

6x-54+54=3x+2+54

Then, simplify by equation.

6x=3x+56

You can also subtract by 3x from both sides of an equation.

6x-3x=3x+56-3x

Simplify.

3x=56

Next, divide by 3 from both sides of an equation.

\frac{3x}{3}=\frac{56}{3}

Answer: →\boxed{x=56/3} and x=18.6=19.0

Hope this helps!

Have a great day!

What is an
equation of the line that passes through the points (-4, 2) and
(-8, -3)?
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

y = 5/4 (x) + 7

Explanation:

Slope of a line (m): (y₂ - y₁) ÷ (x₂ - x₁)

       Slope: (2 - -3) ÷ (-4 - -8) = 5 ÷ 4 = 5/4

Point slope form: y - y₁ = m (x - x₁)

       Equation: y - 2 = 5/4 (x - -4)

                        distribute the 5/4

                        y - 2 = 5/4 (x) + 5

                        add 2 to both sides

                        y = 5/4 (x) + 7

I hope this helps!
