6. Theme: it is the main reason why a play was written by the playwright.

The elements of a play which are considered technical elements include the following;

I. Special effects: these are visual tricks or illusions employed in a play so as to simulate the virtual world and surreal events.

II. Scenery: it includes curtains, backdrops, platforms, and flats that are used in support of a dramatic presentation (play).

III. Costumes: it is the special clothings worn by an actor in a play to aid interpretation and dramatic actions.
